Billing
Billing settings live in workspace administration.
Use billing settings to review and manage workspace billing details. The exact options available depend on your organization’s plan and your role in the workspace.
If you do not see billing controls, you may not have the required workspace permissions.
Usage allowance
Section titled “Usage allowance”Each plan includes a monthly LLM usage allowance. Billing settings show your usage against that allowance for the current period, broken down by AI teammate. Staff-granted credits, when present, raise the allowance for the period.
New workspaces may start with Type trial credits. Trial credits let the workspace use AI teammates before adding a payment method, and they expire at the end of the trial window. When trial credits are exhausted or expired, choose a paid plan to resume usage.
Approaching and reaching your allowance
Section titled “Approaching and reaching your allowance”As your usage approaches the allowance, workspace admins receive a notice and an in-app banner:
- At ~80% of the allowance, you get an early heads-up so there are no surprises.
- At 100%, what happens next depends on your auto-upgrade preference:
- Auto-upgrade off (default): agents are paused for the workspace once the allowance is reached. A message explains how to resume — upgrade your plan or enable auto-upgrade. Granting credits or the start of a new billing period also resumes agents.
- Auto-upgrade on: after a short notice period, your plan automatically moves up to the next tier so work continues uninterrupted. The change is communicated before it takes effect.
Toggle auto-upgrade in billing settings. Owners and admins can change it.
