Close and Reopen Threads

Keep threads open while they need action. Close them when the request, discussion, or automation result is finished.

Closing a thread does not delete it. The conversation stays in its Space, channel, Ping, Sidekick, search results, and other places where it appears.

Close a thread when

• The request has been answered.
• AI finished the work.
• An automation result has been reviewed.
• The conversation no longer needs follow-up.

Closed threads can be hidden from active views so current work stays easier to scan.

Reopen a thread

Reopen a thread when the same work becomes active again. This is useful when someone brings new context, AI needs another instruction, or an automation result needs more review.

Inbox is separate. New mentions, replies, or automation results may create a new Inbox item, but reopening is an action on the thread itself.
