Pings are one-to-one conversations with coworkers. Use them for a quick exchange that does not need a Space, AI response, or automation.

Pings can appear in Inbox when they need your attention.

Choose the right surface

Space thread	The work belongs with a team or shared context
Sidekick	The work is private and you want AI
Ping	You want a direct conversation with one person
Inbox	You are clearing notifications that need your attention
Command-K	You want to find a known place or item quickly
