Email and RSS Tasks

Email and RSS tasks start teammate work from inbound messages or feed updates. They are useful when work begins outside a single connected app event.

Email triggers

Every AI teammate has an email address. Send email to that address when an external person or system should start a teammate thread.

Use email triggers for:

• Vendor or customer requests.
• Forwarded alerts.
• Intake from tools that can send email but not webhooks.

RSS triggers

RSS tasks monitor feeds and ask a teammate to summarize or react to new posts.

Use RSS for:

• Product changelogs.
• Competitor blogs.
• News feeds.
• Public job posts or release notes.

RSS feed URLs must be public HTTP or HTTPS URLs. Type blocks localhost, private network, link-local, metadata, and internal hostnames.
