Overview and Threads

Select a Space to open its Overview. This is the front door for the Space, with a composer for new work and a summary of what has been happening.

What the overview shows

• Needs your attention highlights work waiting on you.
• Recent work brings active conversations back into view.
• Automation runs shows recent automated work and its status.

The exact sections can vary with the activity in the Space.

Start work from the overview

Use the overview composer to ask a question or describe a job. Type creates a new thread in the Space’s default Threads area.

New work uses AI response by default. Switch to Team message when you want to talk with coworkers without invoking AI.

Browse Threads

Open Threads under the Space to see conversations that are not in a named channel. You can see threads you have access to, including your own and other shared work. Private threads remain limited to their participants.

Open any shared thread to read the context, prompt alongside a coworker, comment, or continue the work. Filters and sorting help you narrow the list without changing where anything lives.

Use channels when a set of conversations needs a stable topic or destination.

Your Inbox is personal

The Space overview summarizes work for everyone with access. Inbox is your personal notification queue across the workspace. Use both: the overview for shared context, and Inbox for what specifically needs you.
